Professor Christi Myers, MS, EMT-P, chief executive officer and founder at Flow Integrative, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Business Owners for dedication, achievements, and leadership in health care.
With two and a half decades of experience, Prof. Myers has built a successful career in health care, specializing in developing psychedelic therapies as a medical practice and securing licensure to empower physicians nationwide. She educates individuals on psychedelics and altered states of consciousness, with a particular focus on ketamine infusion therapy. Since 2020, she has excelled as the chief executive officer and founder of Flow Integrative and Flow Integrative Psychedelic Wellness. Her mission is to normalize psychedelic therapies for growth, symptom reduction, and overall wellness. She aims to “help the help” by providing supportive services for front-line workers and service members who face chronic and complex trauma. She serves several agencies, including the Department of Defense, American Medical Response, Life Flights, San Bernardino County Fire and Sheriff Departments, and the Department of Justice.
Prof. Myers’ experience also includes professor at Victor Valley College from 2017 to 2022, adjunct faculty at Victor Valley College from 2007 to 2017, paramedic for the U.S. Department of Justice from 2009 to 2010, flight paramedic with Mercy Air Service Inc. from 2008 to 2010, and a paramedic with American Medical Response 2005 to 2009. She also served as a paid call firefighter and emergency medical technician with the San Bernardino County Fire Department from 2002 to 2005 and as a forestry technician with the Bureau of Land Management from 1999 to 2002.
Laying a solid educational foundation, Prof. Myers earned an Associate of Science in emergency medical technology and fire science from Victor Valley College, where she graduated as valedictorian in 2007. She went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in public safety administration and a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership and Education from Grand Canyon University in 2011. Throughout her academic journey, she received numerous honors, including academic excellence, a Certificate of Merit from the United States Department of Agriculture, and recognition on the President’s List and Dean’s Honor List.
Reflecting on her journey, Prof. Myers faced a personal tragedy when she lost her father to suicide at the age of 15. She later worked in emergency medicine and as a professor, where she discovered the potential of ketamine therapy. In the classroom, she encountered students struggling with suicidal thoughts, which led her to explore ketamine treatments. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, she felt the need to take more significant action, developing ketamine treatments specifically for first responders. She also presented her white label protocol to integrate into traditional medicine and was later approached by an organization aiming to build 500 locations for children traumatized by sex and human trafficking. She has been working to implement her protocol into 100 clinics, building beta sites for both initiatives. Her vision is to expand her work into 30,000 locations nationwide. She takes pride in being given the honor of creating the first employer-driven benefit for psychedelic-assisted therapy to be implemented in the workplace. In the coming years, she aims to implement her licensure worldwide, empowering physicians and reducing suffering on a global scale.
