With over two decades of experience to her credit, Dr. Augustin Doreus has established a successful career in public health, specializing in serving the community, charities, and nonprofits. She currently excels as the chief executive officer and co-owner of DNA Serenity Care, also known as Home Health Care Agency, a role she has held since 2022. She has also been the founder and chief executive officer of WHATorg since 2017. Her prior experience includes working as a registered nurse (RN) with the Veterans Health Administration from 2003 to 2023, RN supervisor at the Department of Corrections from 2004 to 2008, and Nursing Supervisor at Sciensus from 2004 to 2005. In addition to these positions, she is an owner and expert witness at Expert Witness Consultant DA.
Dr. Augustin Doreus is also an active member of the Florida Nurses Association, the Golden Key International Honour Society, the National Society of Leadership and Success, the African American Chamber of Commerce, the Asian American Chamber of Commerce, and the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. She dedicates her time to volunteering with the Ministry of Christ and home health organizations and sponsors local schools in Haiti. Building a solid educational foundation, she earned an Associate of Arts from Miami Dade College in 2000, an Associate of Science from Miami Dade College in 2002, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from South University in 2011, a Master of Public Administration from South University in 2013, and a Doctor of Public Health from Walden University in 2022.
Dr. Augustin Doreus takes great pride in embracing new challenges and is currently focused on building a successful career in home health. She believes that with perseverance, her business will not only grow but also become a vital resource for her community. She is eager to expand her reach beyond the Dominican Republic and Canada to serve diverse communities in the United States, including Orlando, Tampa, Immokalee, Miami, and Palm Beach. She believes her nearly 20 years of experience with the Veterans Health Administration have equipped her with the confidence and knowledge to establish her own agency. She credits her success to the unwavering support of her friends and loving family. Her personal experience with cancer, particularly the loss of her supportive stepmother to the disease, has additionally fueled her passion for making a positive impact in the health care field. She is deeply committed to continuing her growth and development and is excited about the opportunities ahead as she builds her agency.
