With three decades of experience, Ms. Ellington has built a successful career as an entrepreneur, currently serving as the chief executive officer and founder of Ancient Science Inc. since 2022. Prior to this, she was the chief executive officer of Zero Point Leadership Inc. from 2011 to 2022, managing partner at 2XL Concepts from 2014 to 2018, and executive director of Ellington Coaching and Consulting from 2006 to 2011. Additionally, she has held roles such as system of care practice manager for the Department of Behavioral Health and program manager for coaching in children’s mental health. She also serves as adjunct faculty at several institutions, including the University of California, Davis, and Maryland University for Integrative Health. She is a member of the American Psychological Association, and in light of her impressive undertakings, she was honored with the Excellence in Leadership Award from Passion Vista.
Laying a strong educational foundation, Ms. Ellington earned a Bachelor of Science in psychology from Tennessee Technological University in 1994, followed by a Master of Arts in health psychology from Northern Arizona University in 1998. She is currently pursuing a PhD at Saybrook University, where she also obtained a certificate in integrative and functional nutrition. Additionally, she is a HeartMath certified trainer through the HeartMath Institute, a licensed professional counselor with the DC Board of Professional Counseling, a master certified coach with the International Coaching Federation, a national board-certified health and wellness coach, and a registered yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance.
Reflecting on her path, Ms. Ellington views her career as a calling, which she discovered at age 14, that was rooted in a drive to understand society, human relationships, and the potential for growth. This curiosity was fueled by personal challenges that led her to explore the library and sparked her commitment to lifelong learning. She has transformed her own experiences into a mission to help others heal and flourish, guiding them to reach their highest potential. Dedicated to elevating human consciousness, she sees each step in her journey as part of her own path of self-mastery, emphasizing that growth is an ongoing process. Her most meaningful achievement is transforming personal adversity into a source of strength for herself and those she supports. She also takes great pride in successfully founding four companies that have helped individuals tap into their inner strength and overcome extreme adversity.
Ms. Ellington attributes her success to the valuable lessons she has learned from her teachers over the years. Additionally, she credits her perseverance, resilience, grit, and relentlessness for helping her overcome challenges and move forward. She views setbacks as opportunities for learning and growth and has developed the ability to navigate uncertainty and volatility. In the coming years, she aims to expand Ancient Science Inc. and its global presence. Although her primary operations are in the US, she is striving to gain worldwide recognition for her program, The Science of Self Mastery, which is tailored to foster human flourishing, optimize personal development, and facilitate healing.
