During this time, he honed his skills in tax accounting and developed a keen understanding of the industry’s intricacies. While getting his business up and running, Mr. Barlow was an accountant at Strategic Materials in Philadelphia from 2017 to 2018, gaining valuable experience in private-sector manufacturing accounting. In 2019, he also took on the role of tax manager at South Atlantic in Wilmington for one year, further solidifying his expertise in business automation for accounting firms.
Mr. Barlow’s academic journey began at Interboro Senior High School, where he graduated in 2006 and was frequently featured in the local paper for his achievements as a competitive wrestler. Subsequently, he received an associate degree in business administration and management from Delaware County Community College in 2013, followed by a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from the Fox School of Business at Temple University in 2016. Mr. Barlow’s educational accomplishments laid the foundation for his successful career in accounting and business ownership.
In addition to his professional endeavors, Mr. Barlow is actively involved in civic organizations. He serves as an adjutant for the Norwood Post 507 of the Sons of the American Legion and volunteers as an entrepreneurship and financial literacy teacher. His commitment to education extends to fundraising efforts with Phi Theta Kappa, where he was inducted as a member and recognized with an Academic Gold Award. Mr. Barlow’s personal life is further enriched by his Catholic faith and regular church attendance, which ground his values in service to others.
