Brian Cecilio, contractor at B.C. Woodworks, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Business Owners for dedication, achievements and leadership in the construction industry.
Mr. Cecilio is a leader in the construction industry, marked by a journey deep-rooted in his passion for carpentry and nurtured under the mentorship of a master carpenter during his formative years. Since 2018, he has been at the helm of B.C. Woodworks, a company he established in the heart of Twin Falls, Idaho, to provide customers with an array of services. As a talented contractor and handyman, Mr. Cecilio’s diverse skill set has earned him a reputation for high-quality craftsmanship.
Leveraging his excellence, Mr. Cecilio’s expertise in electrical work and wall framing quickly earned him endorsement as a trusted contractor in the community. He is also well-versed in many other areas of the field, applying his broad range of skills to his clients on a day-to-day basis. Mr. Cecilio’s ability to provide various services as a multifaceted professional has set him apart from his competitors.
A notable achievement came when Mr. Cecilio meticulously rectified a botched home remodeling project for a client, showcasing his problem-solving abilities and commitment to quality workmanship. This endeavor solidified his industry skills and underscored his dedication to restoring trust in the contracting industry.
Near the beginning of his career, Mr. Cecilio enlisted in the United States Air Force in 2014, serving until 2017. During his tenure, he worked on deployable radar systems. He also excelled as a unit deployment manager. In this role, he was responsible for overseeing the assignment of personnel for deployment, ensuring they had the necessary equipment, and managing aspects of human resources related to deployment readiness. Mr. Cecilio’s military service honed his technical skills and instilled a sense of discipline and leadership that would later prove invaluable in his civilian career. Despite being medically discharged just before advancing to noncommissioned officer status, Mr. Cecilio’s time in the U.S. Air Force was marked by dedication and resilience.
Mr. Cecilio’s earlier years included pursuing the culinary arts field. Making a promise to his grandfather, a military veteran who passed away in 1999, he was committed to learning how to become a chef before ultimately pivoting by joining the service. After exiting the U.S. Air Force, Mr. Cecilio was offered a position with the Union of Engineers of Idaho. However, out of the love and respect he had for his wife and her opinion on the decision that would effect their newly-established family, he declined, choosing not to work in Idaho and surrounding states while his wife would have remained home.
Mr. Cecilio was initially drawn to carpentry as a way to become closer to God, as he believed he was called to utilize his skills to help those in need. Paying for any necessary tool at his own expense, even if they were used only once to help complete a job, he is proud to dedicate the money he has received to help maintain his tools, provide food for his family, and ensure the happiness and health of his children, as he personally finds it to be difficult to charge more than what he needs for services in his field. In 2025, Mr. Cecilio and his wife decided to begin the next chapter of their life together in Utah alongside their wonderful children.
Beyond high school, Mr. Cecilio’s early education at the Traverse Bay Area Career-Tech Center allowed him to earn certification in culinary arts. He also completed coursework in construction trades on campus, laying a strong foundation for his future endeavors.
Mr. Cecilio’s contributions have extended beyond his professional accomplishments. He has provided over $200,000 in assistance across his client base, reflecting his commitment to charitable work within the community. His efforts have fostered strong relationships with clients and community members, evidenced by their unwavering support during challenging times.
Attributing much of his success to pivotal family moments, Mr. Cecilio’s experiences have reinforced his commitment to ensuring his family’s safety and well-being by working hard to provide for them and nurturing their independence. He also cherishes the impact of his siblings, Paulino and Amanda Marie, on his life, as they raised and supported one another in lieu of their biological parents and shaped him into the moral and ethical man he is to this day. Looking ahead, he is focused on establishing a robust support system for his family and fostering connections within their new community in Utah.
