His expertise in fitness is further evidenced by his roles as an adjunct professor at Point Loma Nazarene University, the University of Redlands, and the University of Phoenix since 2013.
Mr. Frost’s diverse career also includes significant contributions to various organizations. He was previously appointed as the director for San Diego and Orange County and military liaison for EnCorps Inc. from 2016 to 2017. Prior to these posts, he worked as an independent business consultant for the San Diego North Chamber of Commerce from 2013 to 2014 and a speechwriter for CACI International Inc from 2014 to 2015. Mr. Frost previously expanded upon his burgeoning skill set as a marketing group manager and solutions advisor at AT&T from 2008 to 2011 and a senior account representative at Ultra Electronics PLC from 2011 to 2013.
Mr. Frost’s military tenure is equally commendable, having retired as a captain in the U.S. Naval Reserve in 1997. He previously served as an ASW officer from 1976 to 1979 and a selected reserve coordinator from 1988 to 1994. A Vietnam-era veteran and disabled veteran, Mr. Frost has dedicated countless hours to the Freedom Rows project for wounded warriors in the years that followed his commendable service.
Mr. Frost’s academic achievements have significantly contributed to his professional success. He notably earned a Bachelor of Science in general engineering and bioscience from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1975 before graduating with a Master of Science in systems management with a focus on human factors and logistics from the University of Southern California in 1981. Mr. Frost subsequently completed coursework toward a Master of Science in national security and decision-making at the U.S. Naval War College in 1989.
Mr. Frost’s certifications are extensive, including master fitness trainer specialties in corrective exercise, weight management, life coaching, gluteal muscles, and endurance training. He is also certified by the National Federation of Professional Trainers and holds certifications from the National Academy of Sports Medicine, the American College of Sports Medicine, and the International Sports Sciences Association.
Mr. Frost’s literary contributions include authoring “Strong to Save” in 2023. He previously provided his wealth of knowledge to the Community Rowing San Diego brochure in 2016. His earlier written works include “Automating Institutional Knowledge for Maritime Domain Awareness,” published in the Naval Postgraduate School’s Maritime Domain Protection Newsletter in 2004.
In addition to his primary endeavors, Mr. Frost is deeply committed to promoting healthspan initiatives through his Big Kahuna project. Inspired by Robert F. Kennedy’s Jr.’s “Make America Healthy Again” initiatives, he aims to advocate for better health practices across America by emphasizing regular exercise, adequate sleep, and stress management as pathways to longer, healthier lives.
