Mr. Todd has built a distinguished career over four decades, marked by his expertise in business analysis, fundraising and non-profit fund development. Currently, he serves as the co-founder and chief financial officer of BeansForSharing.com, a platform dedicated to providing high-quality products while promoting charitable giving. Launched in November 2024 alongside his wife, Mr. Todd sought to give back to society in a meaningful way following his retirement.
BeansForSharing.com is a fundraising platform where users go to make purchases. Offering a range of premium coffee blends, every coffee product comprises one full pound of shade-grown, direct trade, whole beans. Customers are required to select a charitable trust at checkout, with a minimum of 30% of the proceeds donated monthly. Mr. Todd’s role is to oversee the verification of orders, packaging and shipping processes, while ensuring that tax and shipping costs are accurately tracked through the company’s website. His commitment to philanthropy is evident in the platform’s model.
Beyond his work at BeansForSharing.com, Mr. Todd has served as the chief financial officer at Puget Ground Corp. since 2024. His leadership in this role continues to reflect his dedication to financial stewardship and organizational growth. Previously, Mr. Todd was the chief financial officer for SuperheroGrocer from 2023 to 2024, where he refined his skills in managing complex financial operations. Beans for Sharing is a project of SupeheroGrocer.
Throughout his career, Mr. Todd has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to fostering employee satisfaction and team building, principles he first embraced during his tenure as the chief financial officer for three FedEx Ground contracted service providers: COD Distribution, Seattle Ground Corporation, and Emerald City Parcel Corp. Under Mr. Todd’s leadership, these companies expanded from two employees in 1988 to over 60 employees by 2023. His work in this capacity spanned over three decades, garnering tremendous success managing the financial actions of these providers and playing a critical role in strategic planning and decision-making.
Mr. Todd completed his learnings through the Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE) program during a span of over 30 years. Among various classes, he took marketing and accounting, where he enhanced his professional skills and abilities. This continuous pursuit of knowledge has been instrumental in Mr. Todd’s achievements and his ability to navigate complex business environments.
Beyond his professional commitments, Mr. Todd is actively involved with several civic-minded organizations, including Hope Church in Des Moines, Washington, Love and Serve Weekend, and What’s Up Des Moines. These charitable groups enable him to give back to his local community and support worthy causes close to his heart.
In light of his early success, Mr. Todd was recognized as a winner at the State Championships for FedEx. He attributes much of his success to his faith-based approach to life, which he returned to after a 30-year hiatus. This renewed faith has guided him in both personal and professional endeavors, including the creation of BeansForSharing.com, a venture born out of a desire to create positive change.
