During her tenure, Ms. Blunt became known for her unique approach to farewell gifts, crafting personalized plaques that resonated deeply with recipients. This experience laid the foundation for her business venture, where she continues to channel her creativity into designing heartfelt gift baskets that convey genuine care and recognition.
In 2016, Ms. Blunt founded Creations From Tasha’s Heart in Waynesville, Missouri. As the owner, she oversees all aspects of the business, from maintaining accurate order tracking to greeting customers with warmth and professionalism. Ms. Blunt’s dedication to authenticity and positivity sets her apart in the industry. She is committed to making each interaction uplifting and memorable.
Currently, Ms. Blunt is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in entrepreneurship and business at Southern New Hampshire University in Hooksett. Her goal is to continue progressing in business, leveraging both experience and education to prepare her for future success.
Ms. Blunt’s commitment to community service is evident through her involvement with various organizations. She volunteers at a local food bank every Wednesday and is active in her church by participating in food distribution every other Thursday and serving as an usher on Sundays. She also hosts an annual Breast Cancer Awareness Walk each October. Ms. Blunt’s civic-mindedness extends to her membership in the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the NAACP.
In recognition of her efforts as a local business owner, Ms. Blunt was honored as the Business Showcase of the Month in 2026 by the Waynesville-St. Robert Chamber of Commerce. She attributes much of her accomplishments to her faith and the unwavering support of her husband, Anthony Blunt. Moreover, Ms. Blunt recognizes her mother for providing honest guidance throughout her career journey.
Through her dedication to excellence in both her military career and entrepreneurial endeavors, Ms. Blunt continues to leave a lasting impact on those around her while striving to make a positive difference in her community.
