Mr. Murray’s leadership has been instrumental in the company’s growth, with a focus on business development and networking. Before launching DBIR LLC, Mr. Murray became affiliated with the Defense Health Agency in Falls Church, Virginia, in 2024 as an analytics project manager. His journey into analytics began with his role as the lead of the analytics department under Commissioner Daniel Curley at the Department of Transitional Assistance in 2010.
Mr. Murray’s career in admissions began after serving in the U.S. Navy from 1995 to 1997. He transitioned into higher education as an assistant director of admissions at Rockford College, where he also completed his Bachelor of Business Administration and Management in 2003. His experience in admissions extended to roles at DeVry University and Corinthian Colleges before he shifted focus to analytics and business intelligence. More recently, Mr. Murray obtained a Master of Science in business analytics from the University of Louisville in 2024.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Mr. Murray is actively involved with organizations such as the American Legion. He also volunteers with Habitat for Humanity International, reflecting his commitment to civic engagement.
