Geraldine Mulhall-Wright, DC, FICPA, CACCP, owner of Mulhall Family Chiropractic, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Business Owners for dedication, achievements, and leadership in chiropractic care.
With over two and a half decades of experience to her credit, Dr. Mulhall-Wright has excelled as a chiropractor. She is currently an instructor at Life Chiropractic College West, where she has served since 2012. She is also the owner of Mulhall Family Chiropractic, where she has dedicated her services since 1998. In this capacity, she deals with patient consultations and adjustments, caters to infant neurodevelopmental challenges, monitors normal growth patterns, helps children with brain development as they navigate through different stages of growth, and provides specialized care and support to ensure optimal outcomes for her patients. Additionally, she was the assistant to the executive secretary of the Paramount Export Company from 1988 to 1994.
Laying a foundation for her career, Dr. Mulhall-Wright pursued an education at Life Chiropractic College West, where she earned a Doctor of Chiropractic in 1997. Additionally, she has dedicated her time to several civic engagements, including Supporting Healthy and Individual Family Transitions, known as SHIFT, serving as a past board member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, and acting as past president of the alumni board of Life Chiropractic College West.
Reflecting on her path, Dr. Mulhall-Wright explains that she pursued a profession in chiropractic medicine due to her family’s history in chiropractic care, specifically how it helped her grandmother overcome fertility challenges. Inspired by these events, she aspired to serve others similarly, with encouragement from her chiropractor to pursue a path in the industry. She takes great pride in having been a speaker at a postpartum and pregnancy recovery symposium in Shanghai, China. After discovering that the cesarean section rate in China is around 80%, she presented information highlighting where changes could be made to improve the survival rate and quality of life for both mothers and babies.
Dr. Mulhall-Wright says the most fulfilling aspect of her profession is witnessing her patients’ joy, love, and gratitude as they achieve milestones they previously deemed impossible. She emphasizes that people are starting to understand the need for their bodies to connect and adapt to their environment. While there is a time for an outside-in approach, most of the focus should be inside-out, where the nervous system plays a crucial role, explaining that chiropractors are now becoming more recognized for addressing issues before they necessitate medication.
Dr. Mulhall-Wright attributes her success to a deep passion for people, driven by a desire to see them thrive in all aspects of life. She finds fulfillment in playing a supportive role and providing a space of hope that empowers individuals to achieve their goals. Additionally, she acknowledges her husband’s invaluable contribution to her professional and personal growth. With his support, she was able to manage the diverse range of responsibilities she currently undertakes. She also values the inquisitive nature of her students, who constantly challenge her to reassess her motivations and the purpose behind her actions.
In the coming years, Dr. Mulhall-Wright aims to attain her diploma through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. Upon completing her last certification, she wishes to dedicate more time to service trips worldwide to pursue her passion for chiropractic service, experience different cultures, and help more people.
