Previously, Mr. Grozdanic co-owned trucking and transport company Liberty Transit LLC from 2013 to 2024, served as fleet manager at Omni Transportation LLC, a logistics and transportation company that specializes in managing vehicle fleets and providing freight services while ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards, from 2012 to 2013. He also held various roles at Fleet Quest Logistics LLC from 2007 to 2012, ranging from dispatcher to business development analyst. Beyond his professional career, he has been a youth soccer coach for Alliance, Grand Rapids Crew Juniors, and Midwest United since 2003, and has served on the board of directors for Michigan Power Futbol Academy since 2023. His educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in international business and a bachelor’s degree in German from Aquinas College, both earned in 2007, followed by a Master of Business Administration in accounting and finance from Davenport University in 2010.
Reflecting on his path, Mr. Grozdanic began working with a trucking company while still in school, steadily advancing in the industry until he became the owner of Liberty Transit LLC, which he successfully managed for 11 years before divesting his interests. Having played soccer since his childhood in Germany and continuing during his school years, he eventually had to scale back his involvement in the sport as his business demanded more of his time. After selling his share of the company, he returned to coaching, reigniting his passion for soccer. Looking ahead, he plans to pursue a full-time coaching career, with the goal of acquiring coaching licenses and advancing to coach at the high school or college level. When advising aspiring professionals, he stresses the importance of staying quiet, being humble, and paying close attention. He encourages others to help when possible, be kind, and practice love, believing that success will naturally follow. His core message is to always take others into consideration, be of service, and prioritize their needs over your own.
