Leveraging many years of expertise, Mr. Schulz began his career as an account manager with J.B. Hunt Transportation, one of the most prominent transportation companies in the U.S. This role involved overseeing over 20 trucks servicing Chicago, central Illinois, western Michigan and southern Wisconsin. Mr. Schulz’s tenure was marked by significant success, and he was instrumental in the company expanding its fleet to over 40 and minimizing employee turnover.
Following his tenure with J. B. Hunt Transportation, Mr. Schulz was affiliated with Schulz Transportation Services Inc. in Lincoln for over 15 years. From 2005 to 2023, he helped manage his family’s privately owned trucking company. Founded over 40 years ago in the early 1980s, Schulz Transportation began with one truck and trailer and now operates approximately 70 trucks and serves customers throughout most of the western portion of the country and Florida. To witness such tremendous growth, Mr. Schulz was eager to segway and formulate Schulz Logistics while still affiliating himself with the family business.
In preparation for his future, Mr. Schulz received an undergraduate degree in business management from Nebraska Wesleyan University in 2002 and a Master of Business Administration from Western Illinois University in 2004. His educational pursuits were instrumental in his ability to lead a team and garner success in business ownership. In addition to his degrees, Mr. Schulz remains a professional member of the National Federation of Independent Business and Mensa International.

Hoping to gain significant recognition for his services, he intends to become an industry leader with the help of his dedicated team and become a household name in the next decade.
