Angela Davis-Sullivan, owner and president of Adaptive Dental Solutions, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Business Owners for dedication, achievements, and leadership in dentistry.
With nearly four decades of experience, Ms. Sullivan has built a successful career in dentistry, specializing in business and leadership development. Since 2014, she has been the owner and president of Adaptive Dental Solutions, where she provides business development services for dental practices. Additionally, she has served as a speaker and coach at Mastery Lab since 2021, specializing in leadership skills and helping dental professionals, particularly doctors, rediscover their passion for the profession. She also worked as a business development coach for Productive Dentist Academy from 2006 to 2018, and new patient coordinator, office manager, and expanded functions dental assistant at the University of Florida in 1988. She also authored “Coming Home to a Better Practice: A No-nonsense Guide to Becoming a Leader and Building Your Work Family” in 2019, as well as “Not Another No-Show” in The Observer in 2013. She laid a solid educational foundation with an Associate of Science in dental sciences from Hillsborough Community College and further enhanced her leadership skills with a John Maxwell Leadership certification in 2017.
Ms. Sullivan is also a member of the American Association of Dental Office Managers, the Speaking Consulting Network, and the Board of Dental Entrepreneur Woman, as well as her local Rotary Club. Reflecting on her path, Ms. she recognizes that while many professionals operate in her field, what truly distinguishes her is her ability to connect with clients on a personal level. She describes her approach as having a “quiet, subtle touch” that inspires growth and action. By developing tailored strategies that align with each client’s unique needs, she emphasizes that not all clients require the same message or solution to achieve their objectives.
Ms. Sullivan attributes her success to surrounding herself with people she can learn from, believing that true growth comes from collaborating with individuals who possess greater knowledge and expertise. Her most valuable lessons have come from her failures, which taught her the importance of adaptability and resilience. These experiences have allowed her to refine her approach and adopt new strategies to achieve better outcomes for both her and her clients. Looking to the future, she is excited about starting another company in the dental space with two partners, where her goal is to help others discover their own leadership skills and find their niche in the industry.
