Ms. Young is the founder and chief executive officer of Young Nutraceuticals, a company she established in 2017. Based in Bentonville, Arkansas, her supplement company specializes in premium quality products that are backed by science and comprised of ingredients that have been extensively researched to maximize their safety and effectiveness. Ms. Young’s products are produced with high-quality standards, have been rigorously tested and are made in the United States at cGMP-certified manufacturing facilities.

Among a wide range of responsibilities, Ms. Young manages the finances, marketing, search engine optimization, social media and inventory oversight aspects of her business, while also collaborating with consultants and partners on various business-related matters. Her expertise in product development, marketing and business operations has been instrumental in her success as an entrepreneur.

Ms. Young is particularly proud of bringing one supplement to the market: Mirica, a product that aids individuals with complex conditions by addressing neural inflammation and various types of nervous system inflammation. Comprised of Palmitoylethanolamide (PEA) with an antioxidant called luteolin, it is recognized as the first product of its kind in the U.S.

Among other products available at Young Neutraceuticals, Ms. Young offers Mood Lift supplements that help with overall brain health and promote a positive mood. Her Luteolin Complex supplement helps maintain the nervous system, helps support a healthy immune response and fights free radicals. Polydatin Complex was designed to promote healthy aging and longevity, provide cardiovascular and cellular support, and neutralize free radicals. Ms. Young has five products in all.

Before founding Young Nutraceuticals, Ms. Young was a personal trainer. Her experience in this role gave her valuable insights into health and wellness, which later influenced her approach to developing dietary supplements. Ms. Young also excelled as a drug and alcohol counselor, working with children in alternative schools and those on probation. This experience honed her skills in empathy and communication.

Ms. Young’s academic background includes a bachelor’s degree in biology and psychology from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, which she earned in 2000. Her education laid the foundation for understanding human biology and behavior, which are crucial elements in her work with nutraceuticals.

In addition to her professional achievements, Ms. Young is actively involved in civic-minded organizations. Through Young Nutraceuticals, she donates to various charitable organizations, including Compassion International, research organizations focused on Lyme disease and tick-borne illnesses, such as Tick Borne Conditions United, Hope for Prisoners, Jessie’s Place Women’s Shelter, and Peace at Home Family Shelter, among others. Ms. Young also sponsors children in Haiti, reflecting her commitment to making a positive impact beyond her business endeavors.

Ms. Young attributes much of her success to her faith and ability to transform adversities into opportunities. This mindset was pivotal when she developed Mirica after suffering from complex regional pain syndrome following a severe injury. Looking ahead, Ms. Young aims to expand her business by developing new products and bringing them to market. Her dedication to innovation and helping others remains at the core of her mission as she strives to make Young Nutraceuticals a leader in the industry.
