Prior to his present positions, Mr. Leamon served as the senior director of client solutions at EdgeOne Medical Inc. in 2023. In this capacity, he worked closely with clients to address complex challenges in medical device development, leveraging his extensive background to provide strategic guidance and ensure successful project outcomes.

From 2019 to 2022, Mr. Leamon found success as the director of biologics device development at Jazz Pharmaceuticals Inc., where he played a pivotal role in bridging knowledge gaps between international clients and leading medical professionals. During his tenure, he successfully developed a novel medical device that reached clinical use, directly benefiting neonatal patients—a milestone he regards as his most significant professional achievement. His work at Jazz Pharmaceuticals also enabled him to build valuable industry relationships and foster cross-functional collaboration.

Between 2008 and 2019, Mr. Leamon excelled as the director of medical device engineering at Windtree Therapeutics Inc. In this post, he led multidisciplinary teams in the design and advancement of innovative medical devices, contributing to the company’s reputation for excellence in respiratory care technologies.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Leamon was active as the director and project engineer at InnovaSystems Inc., where he managed engineering projects from conception through implementation from 1995 to 2007. His responsibilities included overseeing product development cycles and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Throughout his professional journey, Mr. Leamon has demonstrated a remarkable ability to solve complex problems and drive results. He is the inventor and author of four patents, underscoring his commitment to advancing technology within the healthcare sector. His membership in the Society of Automotive Engineers International reflects his dedication to staying connected with industry advancements and best practices.

Mr. Leamon’s academic foundation includes a Master of Science in engineering management from Drexel University in Philadelphia, which provided him with advanced skills in leadership and organizational strategy. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York, equipping him with a strong technical background essential for his work in device development. Further enhancing his professional capabilities, he completed a training course titled  “How to Be More Strategic in Six Steps” from LinkedIn Corporation in 2022.

Mr. Leamon’s attributes much of his success to personal qualities such as flexibility, collaborative spirit and a passion for results-driven problem-solving. He values strong relationships that extend beyond networking, viewing them as vital sources of support throughout both challenges and achievements. Moreover, Mr. Leamon credits participation in Toastmasters programs for significantly improving his public speaking skills—an asset that opened new career opportunities and reinforced the importance of clear communication for leaders.

Mr. Leamon’s early fascination with designing mechanical devices naturally led him into the pharmaceutical industry, where he found fulfillment merging technical innovation with a desire to improve health outcomes. His diverse experiences managing engineering teams and developing automated systems have enabled him to guide companies effectively while bridging knowledge gaps across disciplines.

Beyond his primary pursuits, Mr. Leamon is deeply committed to civic engagement as treasurer and outreach chair for Love In Action UCC since 1995. In this role, he has contributed to community initiatives that reflect his values of service and support for others.

Born in Lancaster, Mr. Leamon enjoys spending time with his family, including his three wonderful children, as well as listening to music, learning new skills and exploring guitar playing as a personal interest. Looking toward the future, he aims to mentor individuals within his industry by helping them navigate challenges and enhance operations. He also plans to update his company’s mission to better reflect this mentoring focus while pursuing personal aspirations such as relocating with his family to a beachside location.
