Before his current role, Mr. Viger served as the VRF product manager at Air Distribution Corporation in Brockton, Massachusetts, from 2017 to 2018. There, he managed variable refrigerant flow systems and provided tailored solutions for a diverse range of clients. This position marked a significant milestone in his professional journey, as he transitioned from service-oriented roles to business-to-business engagements—an accomplishment he regards as one of his most notable achievements due to the challenges and growth it entailed.
From 2012 to 2017, Mr. Viger held the position of Mitsubishi City-Multi senior product specialist at Homans Associates. In this role, he was responsible for technical support, sales engineering and product management within the commercial HVAC sector. His expertise contributed to the successful implementation of advanced climate control systems across various projects.
In 2012, Mr. Viger also served as department leader and sales engineer at HTS, where he led teams in delivering mechanical solutions for complex building environments. His responsibilities included project oversight and client relations, further solidifying his reputation as a reliable industry professional.
Between 2004 and 2012, Mr. Viger worked in HVAC/R, plumbing and mechanical sales at F.W. Webb Company. During this period, he developed strong relationships with clients by providing responsive service and practical solutions during critical moments—a quality that continues to define his approach today.
Alongside his professional pursuits in HVAC, Mr. Viger maintained an active presence in baseball umpiring from 2004 to 2018, serving as a certified professional baseball umpire with the Massachusetts Baseball Umpires Association. Inspired by a lifelong passion for baseball cultivated during his youth and high school years, he attended umpire school in 2004, encouraged by his wife. Graduating at the top of his class at Evans Academy of Professional Umpiring, he advanced to Major League Baseball umpire training before choosing to officiate locally up through the college level. This experience allowed him to reconnect with his love for the sport while balancing the demands of his growing HVAC career.
Mr. Viger’s educational background includes certification as a Major League Baseball umpire from Evans Academy of Professional Umpiring and an HVAC service certification that laid the foundation for his technical expertise. Influenced by his father, an electrical engineer and electrician, he was introduced to mechanical trades early on through hands-on experiences outside traditional academic settings. After high school, he opted against a four-year college path in favor of trade education and immediate entry into the workforce, later supplementing his knowledge with some college coursework.
Civically engaged, Mr. Viger served as a member of the Board of Selectmen for the Town of Pelham, New Hampshire, from 2007 to 2022, contributing to local governance and community development over fifteen years. He is also a donor to the Wounded Warrior Project, reflecting his commitment to supporting veterans’ causes.
