Throughout his tenure at Power of Sound, Mr. Chiello has demonstrated mastery in audio engineering, audio house mixing and live performance. As a musician, Mr. Chiello has toured significantly, performing on bass and specializing in country music. Beginning as a bass player with a country band in the 1970s alongside a former Hee Haw guitarist, he soon discovered opportunities in Nashville, Tennessee. There, Mr. Chiello was encouraged to audition for the Grand Ole Opry, a testament to his unique style and adaptability during a period of significant evolution in country music. These experiences opened doors to further touring and stage work as the genre transformed through the late 1970s and early 1980s, propelling him into the national spotlight.
Mr. Chiello’s academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in finance and a Master of Science in music from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. His educational experiences have provided a strong foundation for both his business acumen and artistic endeavors. Notably, during college, Mr. Chiello participated in a student program where he taught others despite being a composition major rather than pursuing teaching formally, an early indication of his dedication to mentorship and knowledge sharing.
Mr. Chiello’s career is further distinguished by his active membership in the Madison Area Music Association, through which he has received recognition for his contributions to the local music community. He is also affiliated with the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees, reflecting his commitment to professional standards in stage production and live events.

At the Wisconsin Conservatory, he composed music for the play “Being or Elise,” expanding original piano compositions into orchestral arrangements featuring strings, horns and keyboards. Mr. Chiello also collaborated on arranging rock songs for a high school band, working closely with another musician to adapt complex pieces so students could perform them alongside his own band.
