Today, the company employs more than five technicians across the U.S. and assembles compressors in Inglewood, California. Mr. Witt’s innovative approach to reverse-engineering components and improving part quality has set him apart in the industry. His commitment to excellence has also led to competitors purchasing his superior parts.
Among other business opportunities, Mr. Witt has owned and operated Steadvale Air System Ltd., Infinity Compressor Pumps Inc. and Wraith Engineering Ltd. in the U.K. His career journey began in the 1980s when he transitioned from being a diesel mechanic to working in the bottling industry in Lenexa, Kansas. Mr. Witt’s career took a significant turn when he joined Johnson Controls and later Schmalbach-Lubeca in Orlando, Florida, where he honed his skills in air compressors alongside Bellis & Morcom. This experience laid the foundation for his entrepreneurial venture in 2006 when he established W.C. Works Inc.
Mr. Witt’s professional motivation is deeply rooted in his dedication to his employees’ well-being, ensuring they enjoy stable support for themselves and their families. He attributes his success to the collective effort of his team and emphasizes that facing challenges together strengthens their resilience.
Looking ahead, Mr. Witt aims to expand his global presence by acquiring another company in the U.K. by the end of 2026. His ambition is to lead the market in aftermarket sales and service for Bellis & Morcom and W.C. Works air compressors while ensuring that his parts remain the preferred choice due to their superior quality.
