In addition to his responsibilities at his import/export company, Mr. Ada founded FTM DIS TIC Ltd. STI in Ankara, Turkey, as the company owner in 2007. Here, his guidance has helped the company achieve significant milestones in international trade and export activities.
From 2000 to 2021, Mr. Ada held the position of export manager at SWISS KRONO AG, a leader in the manufacturing and finishing of wood-based products, headquartered in Switzerland. During this tenure, he managed complex export operations and contributed to the company’s expansion into new markets. Mr. Ada’s efforts were instrumental in establishing efficient processes and nurturing key business relationships that supported the organization’s objectives.
Mr. Ada’s academic background includes a Bachelor of Business Administration and Management from Bilkent University in Turkey, earned in 1993. The comprehensive education he received provided a strong foundation for his subsequent achievements in business operations and management. Mr. Ada is fluent in German, English and Turkish, with conversational proficiency in Greek.
Throughout his career, Mr. Ada has demonstrated a deep commitment to professional development and industry and civic engagement. He is an active member of several prominent organizations, including the American Association of Exporters and Importers, reflecting his dedication to upholding ethical standards and advancing best practices within the business community. Mr. Ada has also focused heavily on fostering international business relations. He serves as the head of the business development committee for the Turkish-American Business Association and as the head of business development for the Turkish American Chamber of Commerce. Through these roles, he has played an integral part in promoting cross-cultural collaboration and economic growth between Turkey and the United States. Furthermore, Mr. Ada is a member of the Freemasons.
Mr. Ada is also recognized for his thought leadership within the import-export sector. In 2024, he authored “Borders to Success: Mastering the Art of Import-Export Business,” an independently published work that draws on his extensive experience and offers guidance to aspiring professionals in the field.
Mr. Ada’s leadership at FTM DIS TIC Ltd. STI was recognized by the Chamber of Commerce in Turkey, which awarded him for his outstanding contributions to exports. Additionally, he received thank-you letters and expressions of appreciation for his ability to run a successful business, further cementing his reputation as an industry leader.
