Prior to his current appointment, he served as the owner and operator of Auto Express West in Columbus, Ohio, from 2011 to 2016 and as a fund manager and principal investor for Mid Ohio Universal Investments LLC from 2010 to 2016. Additionally, he was a manager of two dental offices and a restaurant owner. Adjacent to his primary duties, Mr. Jallaq also remains active as a civic-minded citizen in his community, and he serves the Palestinian community as an appointed document certifier for the State of Palestine.
As part of his dedication to his professional interests, Mr. Jallaq remains active as the president and founder of the Prince Al Hussein Ben Abdallah II Cultural Club, the president of the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee in Ohio, and the vice president of the Arab Americans of Central Ohio. He also pursued a formal education, earning a Bachelor of Arts in business and economics at The Ohio State University in 1986. Well-regarded for his accomplishments in the field, he has been honored with several accolades over the course of his career, including being named Man of the Year for Palestine by the Sayidat Al Arth Organization in 2017 and receiving an NRCC Congressional Medal of Distinction in 2008. Having grown up watching his father succeed in the corporate business environment, Mr. Jallaq naturally gravitated toward a profession as a business owner and leader. In the coming years, he looks forward to finding continued success in his various business venture and further serving his community.
