With more than 50 years of experience to his credit, Mr. Grigsby has excelled as the owner of Grigsby Forensics & Valuation since 2013. In this position, he conducts public and forensic accounting and is frequently recruited as an expert witness for cross-examinations. Prior to these positions, he served as a partner with Grigsby & Castro LLP from 2011 to 2013, a partner with Charles Grigsby & Co CPAs from 1976 to 2004 and the co-founder of the Lorraine Cheese Company from 1973 to 1974. Mr. Grigsby began his career as a grade 11 field auditor for Internal Revenue Service from 1970 to 1971.
Before embarking on his professional path, Mr. Grigsby pursued an education at Western Illinois University, from which he graduated with a Bachelor of Business in accounting, auditing, tax law and management in 1970. He continued his academic efforts with a master’s degree in legal studies at Purdue University Global in 2018. Earning various accreditations and certifications from organizations such as the American Society of Appraisers and Pepperdine Law, he hopes to obtain an advanced valuation certification from the New York University Stern School of Business in the coming years. Attributing his success to his commitment to his clients and his ability to go above and beyond to ensure his client’s success, Mr. Grigsby is also incredibly proud of establishing Loraine Cheese alongside his father in 1973, which later became the number one Swiss cheese in delis across the United States and sold to Sargento for $8 million in 1988.
