With 29 years of experience to her credit, Ms. Petito excelled as owner of CHAS Consulting LLC since 2023. She began her career as an occupational therapist at Brooks Rehabilitation from 1995 to 2001 and at Apex Home Health Care, now owned by Almost Family, from 2001 to 2015. Concurrently, she established herself at River Garden Hebrew Home as an occupational therapist and a wheelchair specialist from 1993 to 2004. She garnered a stellar reputation as the founder and owner of Seating Solutions, Inc. from 1999 to 2014.
Ms. Petito continued her career as a wheelchair seating and DME specialist at the HSC Pediatric Clinic from 2015 to 2017. From 2014 to 2019, she found success as the founder and owner of CHAS Group, formally known as Seating Solutions Inc. At National Seating & Mobility, she served as a workers’ compensation program and operations manager from 2019 to 2022 before transitioning to the Paradigm Corporation as director of clinical solutions from 2022 to 2023.
Before embarking on her professional path, Ms. Petito pursued an education at the University of Florida College of Medicine, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in occupational therapy in 1995. She concluded her studies at the Jack Welch Management Institute, graduating with a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in healthcare administration in 2020. She is certified as a living-in-place professional, an environmental accessibility consultant, an aging-in-place specialist, and an assistive technology practitioner. She is licensed as an occupational therapist and holds active healthcare licenses in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Maryland, Washington D.C., Iowa, Minnesota, and Arizona.
Beyond her responsibilities within the field, Ms. Petito has participated in numerous endeavors outside of her professional circles. She has found success with her multiple written works, including journal articles, lectures, and presentations, and has been published in Rehab Management Magazine, Mobility Management Magazine, and HomeCare Magazine. In light of her impressive undertakings, she has accrued several accolades throughout her career. In 2023, the VGM Live at Home Group presented her with the Pay It Forward Award.
