Previously, he was a company supervisor, owner of a repair and auto body shop, and worked in the construction industry. Mr. De Jager began his journey into construction while in high school. He began working in construction at his neighbor’s construction company.
Before starting his professional career, Mr. De Jager graduated from a technical college. He has used his expertise to give back civically as the vice chairman of planning and zoning for Branson, Missouri, since 2023. He also devotes time to the JC Boys and Girls Club and Lions Club. Alongside those clubs, he also enjoys supporting events that help the children of prisoners.
As a testament to his success, Mr. De Jager has received the Best Business Award in 2022. He was also named Best Contractor in 2020 and Best Startup in 2011. Mr. De Jager has been inducted as a member of We The People of Stone County, the Republican Caucus, and the Woodhill Family Church.
De Jager Construction & Log Homes LLC is a family company with Mr. De Jager’s two sons helping with the business. He would like his sons to take over the business in the future. His oldest son has been working with him for 26 years and manages the work site and crew. His youngest son manages the spray foam business that is affiliated with the construction business.
