Prior to his present position, Mr. Friedman excelled as global head of trading at TPG-Axon Capital, now known as Axon Capital LP, from 2006 to 2010. In this capacity, he oversaw trading operations across multiple asset classes, further honing his skills in market analysis and risk assessment. This foundational period provided him with deep insights into complex financial instruments and laid the groundwork for his later success.

Mr. Friedman also founded Success Academy Bushwick, an elementary school recognized for its exceptional educational performance. He likewise serves on advisory boards for both the New York Stock Exchange and Intercontinental Exchange Inc., further reflecting his influence within financial markets.

He played an integral role in planning the largest K–12 high school in the country located in the Bronx, supported by a $100 million donation from Michael Bloomberg to champion educational freedom.
