His professional journey commenced with a stint in the military, serving as an infantryman with the 3rd Battalion 7th Marines from 1987 to 1989. His dedication led to him becoming an infantry squad leader from 1989 to 1992, actively contributing to his leadership skills and discipline.
Transitioning into the technology sector, Mr. Patricio assumed the role of microcomputer repairman at the Marine Corps Tactical Systems Support Activity from 1992 to 1995, where he garnered valuable technical expertise. He then took on the position of software engineer at OTN from 1997 to 2001, honing his skills in software development. His career escalated at EDS, where he served as a senior software engineer from 1995 to 2001, evolving into a project manager from 2001 to 2005, showcasing remarkable growth and versatility. Moving forward, he worked as a consultant specialist at EDS from 2007 to 2008, contributing significantly to the company’s projects.
Transitioning to utility management, Mr. Patricio ventured into EBMUD, starting as a project manager from 2007 to 2015. His expertise led to his promotion to information services supervisor, where he continued to excel from 2015 to 2022. His professional journey culminated in him being owner and president of Patricio Systems LLC since 2011, exemplifying remarkable entrepreneurial leadership and business acumen.
Mr. Patricio’s accomplishments extend beyond his professional endeavors. He attributes much of his success to his wife’s unwavering support, considering her influence pivotal to his personal and professional growth. Despite facing substantial health setbacks, including being medically retired from the Marine Corps, his determination to succeed remains unwavering. Looking ahead, Mr. Patricio’s vision entails elevating Patricio Systems LLC to new heights, aspiring to federal contracts while nurturing the business as a legacy for his son. His advice to budding entrepreneurs and disabled veterans underscores the value of resilience, hard work, and perseverance.
